foreign i always like the idea
of having a:smaller phone:but with a smaller device in this day:and age it usually has a ton of:drawbacks:either an average screen not so good:cameras:cheap materials and usually lacks in the:performance department for example the:iphone se renewed earlier this year:it had that old design with limited:camera specs:but with the mini it changed all of:that and that's the reason i love it the:iphone mini is a very small:. inch display device but has flagship:features that are usually reserved for:the bigger:. inch or . inch devices and that's:what makes the iphone mini special:we're still getting the g:support we're still getting magsafe:technology we're still getting the same:oled displays:and it's nice to see that apple finally:dropped lcd screens:all that is just superior in all areas:from:white hdr color reproduction to the deep:blacks and contrast the oled screens of:the iphone mini:is beautiful and consuming media is:never an issue:when it comes to screen quality also:we're still getting that super fast a:bionic chip:and the same megapixel wide and ultra
wide camera with night mode and
we could even record: bit k:hdr video all of that packed in to this:pocket rocket so you're getting:basically:all the necessary features that the pro:model devices have:for a fraction of the price the :minute comes in at just:. for the gig based storage which:to me isn't bad but i personally:recommend getting the gig version:which comes in at just . now one:thing that isn't the same:about this and compared to this is the:battery life:and i thought i would mention this first:because it's something important and:probably:a deciding factor as to why you wouldn't:want to use the mini:as your main device usually i wake up at:around am:and by pm i would have like lift:but when i'm not using the phone a lot:for the last days:my battery life has been around seven:and a half hours:which to me is great for the size:however if you depend on your mobile

the entire day:the minute might struggle doing that:but then again everyone usage may vary:the good thing though is that it charges:pretty quickly from: to with a watt adapter it will:roughly take minutes to charge up:which is not bad all right you see how:good this thing looks:now let's talk about design the design:of the minute to me:is fantastic i could easily reach all:four corners of the screen with my phone:i no longer have those moments where my:phone would drop on my head at night:like them phone drops on the head at:night it sucks:also good perk it fits effortlessly into:my front jeans pocket without feeling:tight or whenever i go for runs i don't:feel the phone weighing me down or:shaking all about in my pocket like when:i used to use:the pro max devices also the boxy:aluminum frames fits in my hand:amazingly well and all the buttons are:just easily accessible and tactile:one thing i underestimated was how:easily it was to take
screenshots comfortably
one hand:and this green glass back finish to me:tops off everything:even though it could be a fingerprint:magnet kind of annoying but if you rock:a case:this shouldn't be an issue the speakers:are not that powerful though on the :mini:and i found this out with my shortest:now basically i call this a shower test:because every time i take a shower i:always have music with me:on a mobile device either android phone:iphone it doesn't really matter:i always bring music with me and when:i'm playing my music and the water is:running:if the the water is overpowering the:speakers then:i don't recommend it as a good sounding:speaker with my pro max or the pro:i could hear music i could hear the:lyrics whenever i'm showering but when i:bring the minute inside:the shower tends to overpower the sound:quality and i mean when you listen to:music:inside your room it won't fill up the:room you'll still hear it but it's:nothing to go crazy about:now since the last couple of weeks i was:all about the pro max i was:using it so much until it just started:to feel uncomfortably big:i don't know what about the pro max:but something just doesn't feel right:i'm someone who usually goes for the pro:max models:because i have relatively large hands:and also the pro max has that bigger:screen:and bigger battery better battery life:but this year for me the pro max was
just a big phone and it doesn't have
any big:phone features you know what i mean:it doesn't have any good one-handed mode:or multi-tasking feature that could:compensate:for the bigger screen and the form:factor simply put:it's just not comfortable to hold as:with the mini:now i know a lot of people just love:using the the pro max and:they would use their two hands to enjoy:it but to me:it's kind of a waste of space in my:opinion now when it comes down to the :minute it does exactly what it's:supposed to do:be portable flexible and still perform:at the highest level:there hasn't been any time where i felt:like i needed to use the pro max over:the mini:except when i'm viewing higher image:quality:or design work now even though i have my: inch ipad pro:when i want to look at thumbnails or do:quick instagram edits without me turning:on my pc:you know i tend to prefer to do that:type of stuff on the pro:max or the ipad because it just has a:bigger screen to work with:now working on designs or playing games:like:call of duty mobile competitive games:like pubg it's not that fun on the :mini:because of how small the screen is and:your fingers basically take up all the:viewing experience so
if you're serious about gaming
on your phone especially if you don't use a:controller:the minute might notthe battery life will go:night night if you game a lot so i just:thought if you're interested in the :pro it's in the middle ground off being:very comfortable to hold:while still having all the pro features:like the lighter scanner:a telephoto lens apple pro raw and can:record in dolby k hdr :instead of the fps limit with the non:pro models like the and the mini:now that's a few features we don't get:on the mini and honestly i could:count on my fingers every:time i use those pro features and i:think if you have the mini:you would be just fine without it unless:the minutes camera is your:main camera for work or you just use:your mobile phone:to do a lot of like paid work then i:guess:you need to go for the pro models okay:now speaking about cameras:the cameras on the minute are:phenomenal:all right especially if you're coming:from a small iphone like the iphone se:then you're going to be impressed with:the cameras inside this little beast the:cameras on the phones:continue to just blow me away and:there's no difference with the mini:the selfie camera also has a release:this selfie camera also has a resolution
of megapixels just like last year
also this year it's not much off the:hardware of the iphone camera that has:been tweaked:but mainly the software now even in low:light the cameras are still pushing out:amazing quality night mode works well:with all the cameras on the mini:including the front ones furthermore:apple has improved the smart hdr:function:so that pictures are automatically:processed slightly:now thanks to that a bionic chip we:don't even need:the fancy lighter scanners to get good:low light images:and here's a few shots i took compared:to my iphone: pro max so as you can see bigger:is not always better the iphone :series is also the first generation of:iphones:that could film in adobe vision a high:quality film standard that is used for:example by professional studios:for the time being however this is not:very useful yet because:many apps and programs don't support the:codec or the standard:that's why i'm not able to show you guys:because the:pc that i'm using it doesn't really:support that type of stuff:but i'm sure there's ton of different:videos on youtube showing how:dolby hdr content look on the iphone so:i'll link my favorite videos:down below in the description so the

fps right now and this is what it:looks like there isn't much to say like:when it comes down to:video cameras for the iphone if you:really want to go into depth with it:it's gonna be like such a long video:but i thought i'd show you guys a test:of what it looks like:and if i'm running i better test out the:stabilization here:you know but yeah back camera they're:good you can record slow-mo:k up to six up to slow-mo for vs:p but yeah it's a pretty good camera:all right one thing we didn't talk about:this beast is the performance all right:it's a beast for a reason the minute:is light and fast:for this we have to thank the a chip:again according to apple it's the:fastest smartphone processor:the successor to the a chip which:powers the iphone models and the se:it's not only a lot smoother:but also way more energy efficient now:this worked out well for the minute:because:as i mentioned earlier the battery life:is not it's good:but it's no more than that all right but:for the time being the minute battery:is not:falling through the ice it is however a:point of interest for the future because
let's be real batteries deteriorate
on one hand on the:other hand:apps movies games are getting better and:better:and therefore it requires more battery:in terms of just the raw performance i:have:no issues with the -minute app start:immediately:there's almost never any waiting time:and graphically demanding games runs:like a charm it loads up quick:no lag the a is real but:yeah that basically wraps up my review:with the minute i've been using it:since:launch and i'm not trying to convince:anyone:that loves bigger phones to switch to:the mini i think the minutes for:people who love the size of the se:and the iphone but only upgraded to:the bigger devices just for the
specs the mini has all the flagship
